This year we did an "Around the World" theme. We highlighted Israel – included an Israeli flag, a luggage tag with a note to help beautify Israel by planting a tree (and included the JNF website where they could do so – this was the mitzvah part of the bag), a travel set with 4 travel size boytles and a funnel in a plastic zip container, hamentashen, chocolate kissss, and a grogger. All in a reusable tote bag with our logo. It was a big hit!;

These are all great ideas! Purim is a lot of fun; I love Purim as much as my class (4 & 5 year olds) does! I received a Shalach Manot from 3 “couples” and I don’t know how to thank them when they all chipped in together. Should I send a thank-you note to each couple? Is it ok to say “I thoroughly enjoyed the Shalach Manot! Thank you for making Purim a sweet holiday for me!”

Don’t want to put a damper on any ideas but just keep in mind that shalach manos has to have TWO READY-TO-EAT FOODS in it! Most of the ones suggested have at least one so if you add hamantashen, you have two! Some really cute ideas though!!
